1. Who we are
Applied AI (S) Pte Ltd (UEN 202625785G) (“Applied AI”, “we”, “us”) is a company incorporated in Singapore with its registered office at 50 Bukit Batok Street 23, #01-19, Singapore 659578. We operate the website at www.appliedai.sg.
This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (the “PDPA”).
2. Personal data we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and to run our business:
- Enquiry details you submit through our contact form or by email — your name, company, work email address, telephone number, the service you are interested in, your indicated timeline and the content of your message.
- Engagement information exchanged during a project, including business contact details of your personnel and any material you choose to share with us.
- Technical information generated automatically when you visit the site, such as IP address, browser type, referring page and pages viewed. This is collected by our hosting provider as part of standard server logging.
We do not ask for, and request that you do not send us, sensitive personal data (such as NRIC or FIN numbers, financial account details, or health information) through the website.
3. How we use personal data
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange a consultation.
- To prepare proposals and deliver services you have engaged us for.
- To administer contracts, invoicing and our own accounting records.
- To maintain and improve the security and performance of our website.
- To comply with applicable legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use enquiry data to train machine learning models, and we do not add you to a marketing list without your consent.
4. Consent and withdrawal
By submitting an enquiry you consent to our collection and use of the personal data provided for the purposes described above. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to hello@appliedai.sg. We will act on your request within a reasonable period, subject to any legal or contractual obligation that requires us to keep certain records.
5. Disclosure to third parties
We may disclose personal data to service providers that support our operations — for example website hosting, email, cloud storage, form handling and accounting services. These providers are engaged to process data on our behalf under contractual obligations of confidentiality and security.
We may also disclose personal data where required by law, by a court order, or by a regulatory or law enforcement authority.
6. Transfers outside Singapore
Some of our service providers store or process data outside Singapore. Where we transfer personal data overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure that the recipient provides a standard of protection comparable to that required under the PDPA.
7. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes it was collected for, or as required by law. Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are ordinarily deleted within 24 months. Records relating to engagements are kept for the periods required under Singapore company and tax law.
8. Security
We apply reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorised access, use, disclosure, alteration or loss. These include access controls, encryption in transit, and limiting access to personnel who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Cookies and analytics
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we later introduce analytics or other cookies, we will update this policy and, where required, seek your consent before those cookies are set.
10. Your rights
Subject to the PDPA, you may:
- request access to the personal data we hold about you;
- request information about how it has been used or disclosed in the past year;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data; and
- withdraw consent to our continued use of your data.
Send any such request to hello@appliedai.sg. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and a reasonable fee may apply to access requests as permitted under the PDPA.
